PDEP is an engineering stage which provides all important information on the process. It is done for selected processing scheme.
PDEP comprises:
- Block Flow Diagram;
- Process simulation to estimate product yields and composition, energy and resources consumption;
- Process Flow Diagram;
- Material Balance;
- Products specification;
- Specification of required resources and reagents;
- Wastes specification;
- Equipment List;
- Requests for Quotation for equipment and internals (graphical part is not included);
- Chemistry description;
- Process description;
- Preliminary Piping and Instruments Diagram (P&ID), detailness corresponds to package type;
- Overall description of safety principles and main hazardous factors (arising from carried out process);
- List of laboratory equipment;
- Top view 2D layout for processing blocks (no equipment and piping details, only overall dimensions of processing blocks).
The work is limited by the following:
- Package is developed for a single processing scheme for a single type of feedstock;
- Amount of processing blocks within the whole processing scheme shouldn't exceed 4 pcs for basic supply package (feed preparation - 1st stage of processing - 2nd stage of processing - products refinement);
- Work is being done based on the initial data provided by a Customer (feed properties, construction site characteristics, available resources characteristics, etc.);
- Scope is limited by Inside Battery Limits (ISBL): objects of general infrastructure and the ones not relating to processing blocks are not included in basic package;
- Package supplied units are provided based on vendor's data, without internal details.
Process Design Engineering Package
A PDP will be formed as a package of documents in pdf, format A0-A4. Number of pages depends on specific details of work. The Package is provided only in online form, hard copies are not provided. Editable versions are provided under a separate request.
